Snow Hunting

These photos were taken earlier this Spring. One of my hard core customers who never quits and even gets me out when I don't want to.  Here he is doing some Winter Hunting for nuggets.
 

I finally get a signal in the 2" of snow and had to use the heavy duty digger to bust the frozen ground.
 

All that effort for this little guy

Close up of nugget with the Minelab 8" mono coil in the background. Nugget weighs .3 gram and you know what? I went home with a smile and self-satisfaction because I found a piece of gold. Sometimes even the little ones can make my day. And on that day it only took one golden piece and I was pleased and thankful.
